It is near the touristic places like St Laurence Church. Monihar Tandoori, set within 5 minutes' walk, was the best for dining. Room met requests. We liked Sussex Lodge Guest House.

Steakout, where you can eat, is just a walk down to the hotel. We liked the staff and rooms and excellent rates.
